It wasn’t long before my adventure took a wild turn, landing me in a one-bedroom cabin in Queenstown, New Zealand. In 2017, amidst snowflakes and shared living spaces, Social Status was born—not just as a business, but as a reflection of my passions, dreams, and extremely questionable decision to chase winter on the wrong side of the Pacific.

Now, for the truly important stuff: I’m a die-hard Swifty (no shame in my game), a believer in Disney magic (Cinderella has nothing on my shoe collection), and could probably teach a course on Harry Potter (still waiting on my Hogwarts letter, but I’ve got my wand ready). But wait, it gets better—I’m also the lucky other half to Kenny, the king of comedy in our household, who makes every day feel like an encore at a Taylor Swift concert. And then there’s Waylon, our strawberry-blonde golden boy, who is equal parts adorable and a certified whirlwind of chaos. This pup could probably outdo a Niffler for mischief! When we’re not physically at home, we’re traveling around the world, or roaming around Western Canada—with Kenny on his distant gigs and Waylon creating chaos—our adventures are perfectly paired with the freedom my work offers wherever we can get a signal. It’s this blend of work, wanderlust, and puppy love that truly makes anywhere feel like home.
